Buying postage online

I've just been on the Royal Mail website and notice you can buy your postage online. This would be so much better and quicker for me when I have quite a few parcels.
Has anyone done this and is it ok

I haven't personally. I have a great little Post Office just up the road and I prefer to support that.

I would support the PO but the woman that works there is awful and I just don't like going in0
