Where best to get a quote for blinds?

I'm looking to get my new house measured up for blinds and I am wondering what your opinions are on where to go. I have previously used HIlary's blinds as I thought a large company as themselves would be very competitive with offers but I did find them pretty expensive. Would I be best off using a small firm? Or is there another large company I could go for? I am in the Manchester area

If you are competant enough to put them up yourself, Hillary's have an online ordering site (if you go to their website) where the prices seem a lot more reasonable for ones made to measure. Clearly they are still more expensive than buying off the shelf ones that don't fit, but we got a new venetian for our bathroom and found that it went up on the old clips so no work to do.

i just ordered 2 blinds from Tuiss... happy with samples & customer service. they didn't come & measure up though, in case you were looking for that kind of service.

I ordered new wooden blinds for our bathroom and study recently from Hilarys. This is the second time we've used them and I found their prices quite reasonable too and the service has been very efficient.

I'm pretty sure I saw an advert for Hillarys on the TV earlier today and they have a sale on at the moment, ending fairly soon.
