Cheap Land Travel To Cologne???

I'm trying to find out the cheapest way I can get to Cologne in the first week or two, of November 2010, without using air travel. I need to be there on Friday late afternoon/night, and leave on Sunday night/Monday early morning.
I can't fly, so the budget airlines are out, so I am looking at coaches really, as getting to Eurostar and then travelling on it, appears to be way out of my budget.
I looked at Eurolines low fare finder, but all it says is there is an error in changing the page to November, and the only dates shown are listed as being standard fare.
I don't mind any number of changes, or length of journey time, as long as I am there at the time specified, and it is very low cost. I actually need to get to Dusseldorf, but want a very small stop off at Cologne to pick something up for a friend, but I know there is an easy train from Cologne to Dusseldorf that I can get.
Can anyone help?
