I am thinking about buying a new car, perhaps a BMW (not very MSE..I know).

Where can I get the lowest price? Do main dealers usually offer discounts?

What BMW you after? How much you looking at? Main dealers offer discounts however you will obviously get it cheaper privately. Need a bit more info really before we can give you detailed info.

Are you looking for a brand new 3 or 5 Series?

Our partnered BMW dealers are giving 11.5% - 12% on all new orders if the car is built & registered by Xmas...orders being placed this week with our dealers will get approx' delivery for late Nov/early Dec', if we can't find the car from spare UK stock for a faster delivery.

Walking into a dealer to negotiate for a single car might get you somewhere between 5-9% roughly, if you get a hungry salesman! Some leasing co's are operating on just 6-8% which gives you an idea of how good the current deal is we're advertising in 'What car' etc.

Our current brand new car pricing is pretty much the same as nearly/new pre-registered deals around. Like all brokers we have strong and weak brands through the year, very strong at the moment are BMW, Ford, Audi, Citroen.
