Sorry I wasn't on this am...was tired and was busy making rosemary and sun dried tomato cookies...just about all sorted with NF (nutty family) though Ma did decide to send me a crisis text just as I was about to walk out the door yesterday  and I have pressure from christian friends to support her because of what it says in the Bible about honouring thy father and mother (it is the first commandment with promise) but yet I just can't be on call 24/7...I just don't have that sort of relationship with Ma...we're not that close - never mind when half the time she acts like a child
Anyhow quite tired and still doing experiments in yoghurt making in my slow cooker....so far I've had it going all day and it's still not done...think I would have been best off using it like a thermos
then putting it on low for an hour :T
Need a nap but go to go and knit....
And giro came early today so at some point I have to check the budget

Good evening all, got paid today which is nice but the downside is that it's a five week month till next payday. At least there is enough food in the house to feed us for a week or two yet! I will have to do some serious cutting back in the New Year seeing as everything keeps going up in price, and we have that lovely VAT increase to look forward to as well. And with salaries frozen for at least the next couple of years it looks like budgeting is going to become even more of a challenge than it is already.
I must admit the snow looks beautiful out there, but if I hear Kylie singing "Let it snow, let it snow let it snow" one more time I will not be responsible for my actions.....One life - your life - live it!0 -

Crikey guys, sorry for leaving you all to it with the spammers today!
Work is not letting up... but probably because most of the department are now on leave. Which means I need to stay until the end tomorrow and then hope the roads haven't iced over badly for the drive to my parents.
I hope you all have a lovely time whatever you are doing. Take care out there - I hear that Santa can't always get them reindeer to do ask he asks!Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55
