Tixy, the letter said I could go to somewhere else but that it might be more expensive. I've gone for the nearest one to me.

My family think it's hilarious that I was caught speeding, I never (knowingly) speed and they hate going on long journeys with me cos I drive 'slowly' (or as I prefer to put it, economically).

Just setting up a few things for the Grandkids on Christmas eve.
Do you know you can track Santa on Norad. (North American Aerospace Defence Command). http://www.noradsanta.org/ This seems a better use of the Technology than it was designed for.:) I'd rather they look for Santa than anything else.

Meanwhile I hope Santa makes take off. He's still hanging around the local cider sheds.



Only this time he's moved onto the Bushmills, I did wonder for a while if it was Lady Hooray in disguise as this is her favourite tipple. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Then I thought at least her beard is real :eek::eek::eek:

Cheers all, Hope the Xmas stress is keeping to the minimum. Mrs Handy is getting ready to explode. Folks coming late or cancelling. I didn't help by telling her that Stressed is an anagram of Desserts.

Good Morning All. Looks like it was a really cold night in Red and GeeBee's part of the world.:eek:

I spent a couple of hours salting and gritting our lane yesterday. I could get up and down the hill in my old Jeep only with extreme care. There is a small hill to get over. When I stopped at the top, Handbrake on. The car turned into a sledge :eek: I couldn't get it to stop, all 4 wheels locked and she slid down the slope gaining speed. I had to start the engine again and drive down the slope in gear to get control back. When I got out to unload the salt, it was so slipy my feet went from under me and I landed on my !!!. Torville and Dean would have been proud.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I wouldn't have minded falling over, but I was sober.:)

Anyway off now to do some more work on my ecard (for those I forgot to send a real card to ).
