Ames, are you spending time with your mother at Christmas? I know it is hard for you too, more so in some ways as your Mum is much younger than mine and it seems so unfair doesn't it? Enjoy your evening though :j

Hello Everyone :hello:

Long time - no see.

I hope you are all well. Sorry I haven't been on for ages, had a lot going on recently. My cousins wife is undergoing her chemo at the moment and the worst thing of all happened a couple of weeks ago when they found their son collapsed on the floor, he's about 38yrs old, so they called an ambulance and it turns out he's had a stroke. My God I don't know where they have found the strength to cope with this as well as everything else. Then last week my brother-in-law's mum died so we have the funeral for that tomorrow. Sorry to be all doom and gloom but nothing good has happened for ages and I am not looking forward to Christmas at all.

On a brighter note I hope you have all got nice plans for Christmas and get some time to spend with your loved ones, at least it's a nice long weekend.

So I wil wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and will catch up with you all again soon. Keep up the good work.

Oh BL, I'm really sorry to hear about all that, it never rains but it pours, and at this time of year it seems so much worse. Hugs to you and your family x

3Dogs, yes me and my sister are spending Christmas with mum, we usually spend it on our own (all three of us prefer that) but this year will be the last for mum (I still can't get used to saying/thinking that). So we've got lots of food planned for the holiday!

The theatre was odd, I didn't realise it was a musical version of A Christmas Carol, and kept tuning out of the music bits, but the stage set was amazing and there were loads of kids there who loved it.

Got back and thought my neighbour had finally put her outdoor icicle lights up, but they were real! Brr...
