    Evening everyone... I'm on the Jacket Spud Dual Role thingy again tonight :)

    A - the spud heats me up and B - the oven heats the kitchen up!! Bargain!!

    How many pairs of sock is it reasonable to wear - am I being excessive with 3? What about wearing a hat indoors? would you consider it? (I haven't yet, but I am thinking about it!:D)
    My heating is taking ages to make the room/house feel anything other than freezing.

    Depends on the socks! I've got some lovely thick woolley ones from Dunnes, they're £3 for three pairs and they're really nice and snuggly.

    I haven't worn a hat indoors (I don't wear one outdoors though either) but I do keep thinking about getting some fingerless gloves. It's really annoying having to have the heating on just to keep my fingers warm when I'm reading in bed or under the quilt on the sofa!

    No spuds Watalie!! I've been eating too many with the cold weather and run out. So I've resorted to oven chips, which I rarely eat but keep in for emergencies (today's emergency is its too cold to actually stand and prep anything in the kitchen!:o)

    I've got thin socks, then wool socks then totes on top - actually maybe I've got so many on that its cutting off the blood supply....
