Pania's wise words once again x

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

    What is a Troll?
A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made. If you should get such a comment made on any thread you post, asking for help and advice, please realise this comment is not directed at you personally so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal because the majority of us really are a lovely bunch – ooops, modesty!

New Page New Notice, Cheers Tixy.

What should I do if I get a comment made on my thread?
Firstly do not respond to the comment as this is invariably what the troll wants. So to get rid of the offending post, at the bottom of the post towards the right hand side you’ll see a red "Warning" triangle within a blue “Abuse” icon, as shown below:
    report.gif

Click the icon and then "send" the message which will inform the abuse team of the post, who will then review its content and deal with it as appropriate; sometimes even deleting the troll by making their status PPR’d (Posting Privileges Removed). Remember, this site is an asset to so many people, especially those that feels like their world is falling in around them. There is a wealth of knowledgeable people here all willing to help, whatever you do, do not let the comments of one silly individual deter you from availing yourself of the knowledge base that is on offer here.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE FORUM

It is testament to the work that Martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time, knowledge and experience freely to others; without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of their debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT

Welcome to the DFW board. Please read the message above and don't be put off by any negative posts you might see - the vast majority of people on here are supportive and helpful

New Page, New Notice. Cheers Tixy.

Not all Snows bad. Handy's Grandson loves it so much he is even taking his sledge to bed with him at night :eek::eek: He is going to be one fed up little man when the thaw comes. For me it cant come fast enough.

It's @ -5 here at the moment and my log pile is going down fast.

    Catch you all tomorrow, Handy.:D

Well if the log pile is going down fast maybe time to use Lady H's stool as fuel...sure you'll find some in the bottom of the pit.....(hope this isn't too offensive)....

Hope everyone is well...very tired yesterday. Just about to have a strip wash..(can't have a shower...don't want to say why)... and then get breakkie AT A DECENT TIME :D and then pop back to Chez P ward about 8.30...

Hoping to go sledging with training scheme tomorrow :D. Will try and post pics...

Stay warm and eat soup (but not the chicken variety...any variant on tomato and bean..it's an old WW classic but fab for this weather)...

  • Well Handy can stop feeling guilty now, We have the same weather as the rest of you. @ 4 inches of snow overnight and the sky looks as though there is a lot more to come. I think the Xmas prezzie run oop north is cancelled for this weekend.

I have my old jeep to get up the lane, Lady H has just got a new 4x4 estate so I think I will let her go first:eek::eek::eek: It has only taken her a week to realise it runs on diesel. Her old car is still in the garage having a new front end fitted from when it came to grief on the lane 3 weeks ago.:)

Anyway time for Handy to go and get his 2nd coffee. Back to chat later if I get the chance.

    Cheers all, Handy.:D

  • Another Slipping off the Bottom Of Page 1 bump.

Just been out to retrieve Lady Hooray's new car off the lane. I told her it would slide if she touched the brakes going down hill :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

No Damage done, only to her pride.:D
