**Notice To Newcomers ~ Re: Trolls ~ part 9!**

Pania's original quote
Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.
What is a Troll?
A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made. If you should get such a comment made on any thread you post, asking for help and advice, please realise this comment is not directed at you personally so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal because the majority of us really are a lovely bunch – ooops, modesty!
What should I do if I get a comment made on my thread?
Firstly do not respond to the comment as this is invariably what the troll wants. So to get rid of the offending post, at the bottom of the post towards the right hand side you’ll see a red "Warning" triangle within a blue “Abuse” icon, as shown below:
Click the icon and then "send" the message which will inform the abuse team of the post, who will then review its content and deal with it as appropriate; sometimes even deleting the troll by making their status PPR’d (Posting Privileges Removed). Remember, this site is an asset to so many people, especially those that feels like their world is falling in around them. There is a wealth of knowledgeable people here all willing to help, whatever you do, do not let the comments of one silly individual deter you from availing yourself of the knowledge base that is on offer here.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE FORUM

Ah beat me to it Handy. How are things with you? settling down a bit at home yet? How is Mrs H?
It's slowly getting back to normal, Mrs H is gradually coming to terms with the loss of her mum. Some days are not so bad as others, but I fear it will be a while before the good days are back. At least with us being super busy for the last few weeks have helped.
The problem at the moment is she is so impatient to move back oop North,
I won't make any moves until I have a job lined up as I made that mistake once before (The main reason why Handy is here today). As good jobs are hard to come by at the moment I fear that we may be in scrumpy land for a while yet.
I'm P'd off at DD for putting emotional pressure on her mum by going on about needing her as a baby sitter.
Last week we put £230 towards grandsons nursery fees, cos she was skint. On Friday SiL was on my Lappy for 3 hours ordering 2 tickets for Take That at a cost of £165. Then he asked if we could go up North in January to look after the kids while whey go on a city break to Edinburgh for a long weekend.
I keep feeling at my leg to see if its wet, I get the feeling some ones peeing on it.
Sorry to go on, in answer to your question, we are OK, but I don't think I'm out of the woods yet.

Sorry to hear that Handy, its certainly going to take her (and you all) time to come to terms with your loss, it is a shame that some of the rest of the family are not being so understanding. And after a bereavement it really is unfair of DD to try to put pressure on her, Mrs H is bound to being feeling sensitive over spending time with family so trying to make her feel guilty is not on. Have you mentioned it to DD? Could you?
As for the take that tickets - if you managed to bite your tongue about the money then you are more restrained than I could be. Maybe that comes with being a parent.
Very sensible about waiting until you have work lined up, hope you find something soon despite the current job situation and find someone easier to work for than Lady H (and I'm sure there are still lots of old stories from hooray hall you've yet to tell us). You might even find something where you get to work for a rational and reasonable person - are you sure you won't get bored?
Do take care of yourself and Mrs H.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

Handy here. All visitors have gone home now and the silence is deafening:D
Saturday evening GD monopolised my lappy and did 6 hours of FB, I couldn't even get near to check my messages.
I'm up early this morning as I am still adjusting my body clock, it always takes me a few days to get over the clock change.
I'm off for another coffee and a read at your post's. Catch you all later.
Cheers, Handy.:D
Pray do tell....is this the dear 3 year old GD who formatted your hard drive? How are you handy...not a lot of sleep and like prayer meeting @ 7.30am  so just pottering in utter zombie mode...:rotfl:
Hope I'm still upright for BA later on today.....:)
And I figured I'm going to do a wee check box list of chores for each house when I begin this new job like hoover, wash skirting boards, polish etc. What rooms etc...what cleaning products (the only thing I have to provide is marigolds...client provides all cleaning products - no beach cos not insured. But where do I get good cheap marigolds from?). Any ideas for my list most welcome....:)

PS. I have a cold too...:P..I figure this is a wonderful excuse to get high on orange juice.:A

hope you manage to get the stuff sorted out at the benefits agency, when do you start?!
Well apart from the fact my advisor is going to phone them (pray she doesn't...she's not the nicest of folk)...I phoned the disability enquiry line and they just said I needed to check with the local office about what spreadsheets I have to hand in and stuff....it should be fairly regular work.....No holiday pay and sick pay though but am just doing it for experience then will look for something more secure...Nargleblast wrote: »Watalie - well done for getting shot of some of your debt, on the way to debtfree land!
Erme - brilliant news about the job, hope it works out for you, the routine, the money and the social interaction will be good for you.
Good evening everyone else, hope you have all had a good day.
It's not so much the social interaction as it's domestic cleaning and I'll mostly be doing it when folk are out at work but it'll be rewarding and I enjoy cleaning. I should also get it initially at least under the permitted work rules so I'll be £20 better off...but first things first - need to pay for the DM's I bought on the OD at the weekend because like I figured I would need decent shoes for work and I'd applied for so many things on the classifieds on Friday I knew I'd get something... It was a well known classifieds ad site. Seems folk are putting less of these low paid jobs in the paper and more online...worth knowing for job hunters...anybody want any more details pm me cos I don't think I can say on here..
Eventually I want to be cleaning at the hospital which is 1/2 hour walk from here and bus journey home. But that's wee while off. I could go for the psych hospital which is only about 10 mins walk but being a service user it's just too close to home (and also knowing a lot of the staff etc)...
Anyhow rome wasn't built in a day and I gotta start somewhere and I've not worked in over 10 years though done lots of vol jobs
