Principality regular saver - opening cheque

To whom do I make out the cheque? Do I pay it to myself?

I can't find anything anywhere to confirm what to do, the confirmation page just gives me the address to send it to :o

If it's going into an account in your name, then that's the name it needs to be paid to.

Just the same as if I sent you a cheque, I'd write your name on it.
  • That's what I thought, think I just needed confirmation from at least one other person!

I've opened several of these over the years - all cheques have been made out to "Principality Building Society - my name"

Oh, and here is the answer from the horses mouth
Who do I make my cheque payable to? Cheques should be made payable to ‘Principality re: Your Name’

Yeah, that would also be acceptable. It doesn't matter in the slightest how you phrase it, as long as it's something sensible and your name is included on it. As it's simpler just to put 'Mr A Smith' than 'Principality Building Society re: Mr A Smith' I tend to just do that.
