    Morning all

    a good mood
    a pickle
    a trance?

(where is that confused smilie when you need it?)

    All of the above :rotfl:

Hubby in london, DD1 at college, DD2 at school despite being full of a head cold, bless her, she's a little trooper her.

We decluttered loads of boxes to one of the lock ups yesterday to get them out of the way.

Started to think about christmas shopping, although I'd quite happily give christmas a miss if I'm honest, far prefer to go off somewhere rather than stay here.

It is Exam week at Uni this week. I only have 1, which is set for 3pm tomorrow - I have to give 3 drugs to a "patient" in the correct manner explaining all the drugs to the mentor. Sounds easy and it it really, but you can fail for little things not being said. I need to recap and revisit my revision on the drugs we will be using.

Hubby is home today so that along with nerves I don't know how much flying I will be getting done today - I am pretty much on top of the kitchen so it shouldn't be long to do that today.

    Talk later my luverlies xxx

P.S. I got my 2 essays in on time last week. Feeling good!
Good luck for the exam - I know what you mean about nerves!

and well done on getting the essays handed in.
  • Thanks for that reminder which we all need. Since Dad died I have been better at biting the bullet but a timely reminder is always needed. Hugs re your friend, we can probably all guess the situation x
Thanks, Dusty. Fortunately I don't know the name of her original GP:mad:

im in scanning at the mo but will get cracking later thanks for lists hugs if you need them samx
  • Thanks, as ever, for the lists.

Today I need to get on with my research work, while waiting in for a BT engineer (so my Broadband connection might actually go faster than a dial-up speed (!), which is where we've been at ever since they "upgraded" me to "Up to 20Mbps" last May... I get 342kbps max now, most days less... ... It was great before they interfered!:mad::mad:).

May try to wipe round the bathroom later...but I mustn't use this as an excuse to get diverted from my work!!! ;)

Tomorrow is gardening for some of the morning - but I'm going to try to do the kitchen afterwards. Looks like a useful list, especially the larder check. I did this last year and used masses of stuff up that needed eating (saves money, too).

Dusty: you are so right about 'demons' - but mine are in the paperwork/telephone call areas! The ones I've been avoiding for a month or two are:
    * Piano tuner - arrange (he talks for ages and ages :o)
    * Check Websaver gas rates are still OK for us
    * School Gift Wrap order - means going through the wrapping paper drawer...
    * Autoglass chip-mending for car windscreen?
    * Write difficult letter to D.L. and post it :o
    * Savings with DH - ours; DD's (means dealing with the Halifax )
    * Do my income tax form on-line
    * Orchestra form to take next week (before they throw DD out!:o)

I'd love to join your Albatross campaign if it's OK: I'll post an update when I do some cleaning....

    MissH
    xxxxxx

ETA: sorry to hear your news, Craftyscholar. How very sad.
