We are off on our holidays tomorrow, and with being ill again last week, the housework is well behind. I think I will have to do some very fast Flying today!
(As I am away at weekends too, things are getting a bit on top of me!).
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

    Morning all

Mizzle here today so no better day than to fly like mad (apart from it's O day here). Just getting my strength up with a cuppa and some plum and oatmeal loaf - sharing if you'd like some.

    a good mood
    a pickle
    a trance?

(where is that confused smilie when you need it?)
Maybe starting the day with a mug of tea in front of the 'puter is not a good idea.
Got an email about a friend - not really unexpected but a shock when I read it all the same.

If there is anything you want to do get on with it

If you are concerned about your health nag until they check it properly

Thanks for that reminder which we all need. Since Dad died I have been better at biting the bullet but a timely reminder is always needed. Hugs re your friend, we can probably all guess the situation x

I got my 2 essays in on time last week. Feeling good!

Very well done on that! Good luck with your exam tomorrow.

PenPen - do we want an Albatross thread? or are we happy to deal with our demons here as the thread is quite quiet at the moment.

I'm starting with a HHC at 9:45 to do my dailies and then slaying the dragon of the bathroom window mould removal before the washed blind goes back up (after I have cut the bottom strip of mould off and re-machined it)

I haven't started yet. I tried to do an online shop last night with Tesco using Mysupermarket. After spending about an hr shopping i couldn't get past the sign in page at Tesco so i gave up. I'm just trying to swap it with Asda and see if that helps.

Hubby and MIL are going to cut sticks (they both love that job). I'm gonna carry on with the kitchen and when Rhys goes for his nap i'll start the hedge cutting. I can't wait to get it done. :D

Need to go into the town once kids lifted so i'll get DD's quilt then.

    Right best move.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

That always happens to me with mysupermarket, and then by the time I manage to sort it I've lost my delivery slot  might be money saving but certainly not time saving.

I have started. Half the sofa covers in the wm - house covered in 11ty billion feathers as they push their way through the cushions. Shook the covers out to try and get some feathers off so they dont clog the wm so now my back step looks there's been a bird massacre too. Top of microwave done too, and shelves above it. Once bub is fed I'll get dressed and tackle baking and pan cupboards, and then the rug in lr.

Crafty your words ring so true. (((hugs)))

Toots still thinking of you, hope you get home today, take it easy when you do.

Off I go again, kitchen will sparkle after today.
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy
