    Well I am here...

Not sure how much I'll get done, bit distracted and all, going to ring my consultants secretary tomorrow and see if I can badger her for a date....here's hoping!!

The plan is to carry on as normal until then so swimming in the morning..not been for a week so looking forward to it, also going to ask the Head teacher for some release time so I can get stuff done before I go in hospital, there is so much I need to do with OFAL due any time soon and I want to rest when I am off!!!
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

    Evening all

I'll be in and trying hard to get my list done before the month is out. Will update in a bit. Need to check on the log fire which is spitting - who has been stuffing wood in the porch which isn't fully seasoned?

So this is the week when I face all those jobs I've been putting off for months (ok years for some of them). It is time to face my nemesis; deal with the albatross - you get the picture - who will join me and face their demons?

i felt the same last week as i was sorting out all oh's sea stuff, k

Thank you so much for that! It really really helped. My business is in events...or rather an event, and my husband and I are trying to expand the business so that all our income/expenditure for our wee company doesn't just fall in one part of the year. To that end, we have quite a few areas of the country/abroad where we have gone to see other potential venue sites and other events running so we could either mimic what has worked abroad in the UK or run other similar events to the one we already run here, and I've not been quite sure how to categorise the expenditure that involves. (and our accountant speaks in tongues)

You've sorted that out for me completely. Thank you! Now I know where to start.

For the confused, who read my husband has a shop and our home is inundated with stock, yes, he has that too. That's his full time job. Mine is putting on THE event.. The trouble is, although I'm good at our particular event, I've never had any event training per se, I just fell into this because of family circumstances and because I like working from home. It's all a steep learning curve, but I'm determined to make the most of our opportunities if at all possible.
