Hi all,
I am wanting to open an account which I can buy and sell shares online at my leisure, just £50 or so now and again, I would like to know which bank/company is best to use to do my buying and selling shares?
Many thanks

Halifax Sharebuilder may be the best option for you.
£1.50 per purchase (not real time) and £5 per sale (up to £250) - sale is real time. If you want to buy real time the cost is £11.95, and there may be cheaper options open to you.
As a hobby, it's quite good fun. As a cost effective way of buying and selling shares, it's the best I'm aware of, but you still paying a relatively high percentage of your purchase in dealing fees if you're playing in £50 chunks.0
