Northern Rock's New Visa Debit

Hi
Has anyone recieved one of the new NR Visa Debit cards, which are replacing their ATM cards.
Instead of electronic use only on them, they have "for use only in the UK".
So, unless they would give me a full card I dont think I would really want one of the cards.

You don't have a choice, as they are migrating the card scheme you won't be able to opt out. The only thing you can do is move to another bank or building society that will allow overseas transactions on their cards.Best Regards
