Can I buy Travel Insurance?

I am travelling to USA in November and will be staying for 90-days. I have annual travel insurance but this only covers a 60-day trip. I was going to, therefore, buy a further single Travel Insurance policy which would cover me for the last 30 days. I have noticed, though, that many policies state I must be residing in UK for period of 3 months previous to the trip, and that I must start the trip in the UK. Does anyone know what I can do?

You will need to buy a ninety day policy. You would be able to get a thirty day policy, but the premium paid due to you starting cover whilst you are away would be far more than a full new policy.
    Gone ... or have I?
