Reclaim services whilst on tour?

Hi Folks,

Just picked up a 3 month deployment to Bastion - any of you good people on here tell me how what companies are sympathetic to your deployment and how to stop/suspend services such as mobile phones etc for the period you are out of the country please?

Also need life insurance - any ideas on that also?

DH has his mobile with T-mobile (I think) and they have greatly reduced his monthly contract for the 6 months while he is in Iraq. He also declared his car SORN and got a refund. He will tax it on his return.

My hubby used to cash in his tv licence when he was a singlie in the block if he was on a tour.....just remember to buy one as soon as you're back.
