Tax credit child disability element.

My daugher was recently diasnosed with adhd, I have filled in the disablity forms asnd sent them away. My oldest son also has adhd and he gets dla and we got the child disability elememt with tax credits. My question is if im sucsessful getting dla for my daughter to i get another disability element with tax credits for my daughter as well? If so does it get backdated to start of dla claim?

Any advice gratefully recieved.

hi sorry to but in on your thread but can i ask what info you gave the dla about your sons adhd as i asked for this benefit for my son age 6 who has adhd and was turned down i told them that he was a danger outside as he has poor concontrateion sorry for spelling he keeps going into the road running off so easy distrated ect if you dont hold on to him he also needs help cutting his food getting dressed ect but i was told he cant have it so i was just wondering on what grounds they gave it to your son they had dr letters ect but said he wasnt entillted so any info on to what you told them would help me to see if it worth asking again as i though they cant pay it adhd but reading your post they do pay it for adhd thanks
