CarpetRight carpets... cheaper elsewhere?

Hi all,

I have just returned from a trip to CarpetRight with the details of a few carpets I like the look of. I wrote them all down on the premise of searching for them on-line for a cheaper price (same as you'd do with any substantial purchase).

Thing is, the makes CarpetRight seem to sell don't exist outside of the CarpetRight world

Does anyone have an idea where they buy their stock from or know of places which sell their "Modern Life" or "Crossley Collection" carpets?

If they are plain, then a local independent carpet shop would be interested in giving you a quote for something similar.

I can recommend somewhere in West London if you live near there,

Carpet Town in Southall is very good and I have been back time and time again.

I know the sheds used to rename or give impression of own brand on certain makes of carpet to make it difficult to get a comparison quote elsewhere. My brother was able to identify most samples he was shown and if not he could quote for a comparable cloth as will any reputable independent retailer who knows his stuff. We always compared v well in terms of price and we didn't faff about with all the free fitting offers malarkey.
