House Extension

We are looking into buying our rented house and would ideally like to extend the side of the house from the ground to the roof. There is an alley next to the side of the house we want to extend so would not inflict the neighbours.
I'm struggling to find if there are any rules or regulations on the height of the extension.
Any advice where to look or who to speak to?

Speak to your builder and architect , they should know , and help you submitt the plans to the council. It all depends on what extentions ahve been done on the street , foundations yadddayaddda.ONE HOUSE , DS+ DD Missymoo Living a day at a time and getting through this mess you have created. One day life will have no choice but to be nice to me :rotfl:0
