Shepherds Bush, London Hotels - Cheap or Discounts?

Hi All,

I am lucky enough to be going to the live recording of Strictly Come Dancing next Saturday (2nd Oct) at BBC Studios, Shepherds Bush London.

I need somewhere for me and my mum to stay that night that won't break the bank! I know it is difficult as it is a Saturday night in London, but I have been searching online for the last 2 hours and am getting fed up!!

Any of the cheaper & nearby hotels have absolutely awful reviews and look disgusting! At the moment we are leaning towards the Hilton London Kensington Hotel, but can only find it at £130 which is a bit steep! Are there any discount codes or vouchers about for Hilton?

We ideally want somewhere within walking distance of the studios to cut down on taxis etc. Any help would be much appreciated!

Have you tried hammersmith B&B's, its walking distance (just) and there are loads round there as its near the hammersmith appollo.

We stayed at a B&B two minutes from the bbc studios but wouldn't recommend it - pretty grotty really. K west is near there, if you go through expedia they might have deals on for room only???

I live quite close to Shepherds Bush and would recommend K West if you want a posh hotel, but expect to pay a lot for it. If you're looking for a much cheaper alternative then have a look on Hostel Bookers, just had a quick look and there's one in Hammersmith and some near Queensway tube, which would be handy as you'd just need to hop on the central line and go 4 stops west to White City. The central line is really quick so look for any hotels along that line and you should be fine.
