My son has just started at Uni (Canterbury) - can anyone recommend any good freebies I could send his way? :j

I got a free Subway flask thing, some 99p vouchers for there,
A free membership at my local cinema and a free ticket for there,
Plus a welcome pack at Halls with a few bits in it.0 -
We had free pizza (from Domino's) at our freshers fayre in 2008, but they weren't there in 2009
2008's freebies were good. I got a cotton "I [heart] Bristol" bag, at least a dozen pens, some vouchers for Spoons, 10% off at Wilkinson, some condoms and bags full of leaflets (which never got read)!
2009's freebies were quite pathetic last year - came out with just a bag and pen - hoping for better this time round!0 -

at my freshers fair, last year, we got lots of sweets, a stress toy in the shape of a doctor(im a student nurse) , condoms,a co-op cotton bag, vouchers galore -loved it :-)
try writing to companies , ask them to try there products, pens , stationary, fragrances, food.
ive had baileys goodies, £5 mars voucher, wash liquid, nivea for men( thts good 1- got 6 trial size bottles) all for just asking. a polite email goes a long way.
Also write and compliment them on their products, i did to persil and got a £1 voucher, a quids a quid at the end of the day :-)0
