Trench Lane Car Boot Sale near Bristol horrid experience

Hi all
Thought I would let you all know about my experience with the Trench Lane car boot near Bristol.
The car boot runs most Sundays during the spring and summer and you can see it from the M4 motorway. This was my first (and now last) visit.
It is very busy and went to park up but I followed the cars in front of me who just happened to be parking in the disabled area. I was a bit confused by the signs but an organiser came running over. I wound the window down to speak to him and he stated that this for disabled only and accused me of ignoring his signals. I said I got confused when both cars turned right in front of me and I said I was sorry. He replied yes you will be sorry in a threatening manner. There was no need for this attitude. My partner was fuming and gave them a hand gesture as we drove by the organiser (I said to her don't escalate this). Any way the organiser jumped on his quad bike and chased after us. Getting a bit scary now. I stopped and spoke to the organiser and he said there was no need for the attitude and it was his field. He then ordered us of his field and him and a colleague escorted us with their quad bikes.
What a lovely Sunday morning.
I cannot recommend anyone to go there to save money!

What a horrible bunch of people.
We had an experience like that in Sainsburys car park, we'd got there about 15 minutes before it opened and the car park taliban told us to clear off.
We saw the petrol station was already open so decided to go and fill up while we waited, one of the car park taliban came over to us as we filled up and tried to get us to get off 'this land'.
I've never been there since, the one at Hanley.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

How odd, you'd think they'd be glad that people were turning up. If you'd mistakenly driven onto MOD land during some top secret mission I could understand but Sainsburys car park/petrol station ? Looney tunes.0 -
Not quite sure this is a kosher version of events.I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0

My version of events were kosher. I made a mistake and apologised for it. Won't go back there ever.0

That's why I'm questioning the story terra, and you assume she bothered with the 2nd finger...I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0

I've found appealling items at bootsales few and far between and appealling people even fewer and farther between!
With eBay around, bootsales appear past their sell by date - plus you don't have to get up ridiculously early on a Sunday! :j"The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.
