Tunisia

We're off to Tunisia in a couple of days on a Touring holiday, staying in a few hotels while there .
Just wondering about the hygene aspects,is it ok? and what should we be careful of as we'll be out and about a lot.
Also what about water,is bottled water easy to get wherever you are.
Thanks.

Didn't tour in Tunisia but found the hygiene standard in the hotel in Yasmine Hammammet absolutely fine. Similar to Egypt the * classification is slightly overated, for 5* read a good quality 3*.

You'll get hassle in the shopping areas to come and look and buy but I didn't find it aggressive. Also Police/Military seem to be on every street corner though as I didn't need them I can't comment on their effectiveness!

Bottled water was everywhere and cheap.
