You are right, my mistake, it is part time rather than flexi hours. I know of at least 2 other women in the company who do completely different hours since coming back from their mat leave so I know all reasonable requests are considered - but thank you for pointing out my error!

Flexible working requests can incorporate flexi-time, part-time and jobshare.

I think you might have a good chance as there's already precedent for in it in the company, and as you've said, there's another person who's sharing your workload now....so hopefully they'll let you. Good luck
