Will tomatoes still ripen?

Hi!
I have tomato plants with a good few green tomoatoes on them. Previously, everyday there have been one or two ripen but this has slowed down.
Now that the cold has truly set in do you think anymore will ripen or do you think I should pick them for chutney?
Thank you!

I have picked mine and put them in a bowl on the kitchen window sill and they are slowly ripening!:beer:0

Mine are still ripening, but that's in the greenhouse.
I would leave them on till the weather where you are is too cold for the plants. Basically before you get a frost, then pick them and bring them inside to ripen, or rip up the whole plant and hang it in a frost free place, like a shed.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
Our tomatoes are still ripening. We have been hanging banana skins on the trusses of tomatoes and are picking a few ripening ones every day.

Just gone outside and something has been feasting on 3 of the best semi ripe tomatoes. It couldn't be happy with one, whatever it was. What a waste.:mad::mad::mad:

Pick them, put them in a paper bag (or wrap in newspaper), put them in a dark cupboard and they'll ripen. You can put a banana in there too if you want to speed up the process.0
