Tesco clubcard vouchers worth it?
Comments

Ah right, must have missed the bit about only being valid for 6 months! She will finish mid June and is hoping to go to America possibly, straight away. Haven't had any e mails from airmiles about offers, I'll look into that. So it may be a good idea to spend them on airmiles rather than wait and get a lower return on Virgin holidays at the end of the year.
Thanks for the info!0 -
I work for Tesco at one of their Distribution Centres.
Today we had our weekly brief and it confirmed that they are continuing with their double points for £1 promo because it has been so successful, they are however reducing the clubcard exchanges to 3x the value instead of 4x, they didnt mention a date as to when this will happen though.
Hope this helps a bit.0 -
Thanks for that, I'd better do something with my vouchers then. I was hoping I could put my vouchers towards her trip to America but it would appear it will be better for her just to try and book a flight deal and maybe I'll use the airmiles to get her home for her brother's wedding instead!! Although that won't be a great deal as it would appear you can only book return trips through airmiles and as there isn't a convenient flight back, she'll have to go back on the train!! Still better than nothing!0

I work with someone who saved up £200 of vouchers to be converted into £800 off his Virgin holiday to the Maldives. He has also said in reality he really only got about £250 - £300 off the value of the holiday as the price was bumped up so much, I assume to cover the real costs!
I wouldnt say its worth it as they take a loooong time to save up and seem to be worth a quarter of their value once redeemed on a holiday.KimmyCustard :j0 -
They aren't as good as they sound! But having got them, it's a case of what to spend them on to get the best deal. And of course, if their redeemable value is diminishing, better to do it now rather than later!
Suppose it'll have to be airmiles, though a roll down a hill in a giant ball is tempting and obviously worth every penny for the 30 second ride!0 -
We've just booked our holiday cost £1375 for 3 of us AI to Lanzarote 5*, paid £1200 in tesco deals so only paid £175 for the whole holiday, I think it's worth it.0
