October half term any ideas?

My sons have two weeks off in October break up 15th.Got sun Thorpe parks tickets for 20th but would like to book a long weekend somewhere.Ages 15,11 so need some activities.Any suggestions?

    I don't know if you live near London and are going to Thorpe Park just for the day or if you live elsewhere you might look at staying in London the weekend before, plenty to do with Museums, sight seeing etc in London. Boys that age love London Dungeons. and then drive to Thorpe Park. You could even look at staying around Thorpe Park and getting bounce back cheaper tickets bought from Customer services inside the park (hopefully they are still doing that) to do 2 days there i.e. Tues and Wed. The half term for my children is 22nd October so the week before would be less busy. Sunday and Monday would be less expensive in London hotels (Sats are often expensive).
