Where to put a radiator

    Ok, yep, get you. But, the place I want to put the radiator is next to the window (the window is about 25cm from the corner of the wall, turn that corner and 80cm along is my ideal spot) so would we not still benefit from having it near the coldest spot, but without the hassle of curtains and the dangers of not being able to cover it with it being such a low wall? Thanks for everyones input so far, much appreciated

    Absolutely. And the lazy installers are the source of the mistaken argument that you should not put radiators near windows because that is where the heat losses are.
