Anyone been to Corfu/Greece recently?

Hi my daughter is due to go to Corfu in 3 weeks but is panicking as someone who just got back told her they couldn't afford to eat or drink out as it was so expensive e.g. 8 euros for a pint of larger & to pack loads of pasta snacks etc. Daughter is now really worried and not sure whether to take loads of food and if this is correct. Has anyone been recently & could let me know how prices are in Corfu? Thanks

Recently went to Greek isles..petrol typically e1.60 a litre, meal for two with "local" (the farmers) wine maybe e25-e30.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
  • We went to Zante in June and didn't find it expensive. Eating out was between 40-60 euro dependng on if we had starters/ desserts. It was usually around 45 euro for 2 courses. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 4. Local beer, mythos, was around 2.20 euro and spirits 4.50 cocktails around 5 euro. Bread and fruit in shops I found to be more expensive than in Spain last year, and branded stuff in supermarkets was pricey - but uk brands always are.

I know when some of my family went to Rhodes in July they said the prices sounded the same as in Zante. But this was 3-4 months ago now.
