The O/D is yours, ie it's a sole account?
The credit card debt is hers?
You don't currently have a credit card?

Have you ever had a credit card in your own name?

Hello again, The overdraft is on our joint account, the card is in her name, and no I have never had a credit card, The current account is our only account.

Shouldn't be a problem BTing from her card to yours...just don't volunteer that bit of information.

Then unless you have a very good salary, and a history of repaying your mortgage and/or other commitments, then I fear you're not going to get a £9K limit...but good luck anyway.

Have a long history of mortgage/ direct debit payments but what do you call a good salary?
