Library Binding

Stupid question, but what does library binding mean for the type of book?

Randomly searching for old books I found in the loft and came across one worth a fair bit! ...but the 'library binding' version is about £25 cheaper :/ ...I'm guessing (hoping) I have the paperback version though!

    Library binding refers to the hardcover binding of serials and paperback books intended for the rigors of library use. Though many publishers have started to provide "library binding" editions, many libraries elect to purchase paperbacks and have them rebound as hardcover books, resulting in longer life for the material.
    It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

    Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.
