Since installing Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 on my pc I can no longer view online PDF files.
I get a message telling me to exit my browser.
I can read the online PDF files via Explorer, but would like to know if there's a way of viewing them in Chrome (I could easily read them before I installed Acrobat 8, but am reluctant to uninstall Acrobat 8).
I have Adobe Reader 7.0 on my pc...

I installed a Chrome extension called "Docs PDF/Powerpoint viewer" which allows me to right click a PDF link and open the PDF in Google docs or my installed PDF viewer "Foxit".0

PS - why are you using an insecure seriously out of date version of Adobe Reader when one of the most common paths of infection is via malware laced PDFs?0

I wasn't aware that I was using something insecure. (I'm new to Adobe / PDF)
What would be my best option?
Uninstall Abobe Reader 7.0?
Install a newer version? (Can I download it free from anywhere?)
Will it interfere with Acrobat 8?
I have AVG (regularly updated) and run Malwarebytes as & when. It's nice to be important.....but it's more important to be nice
