It just feels so wrong to go outside in my PJ's. I am sure it is not something that my Mum would have ever done! Not that she wore PJ's, she wore nighties, but you know what I mean!

Kitchen done now, floor is sparkling for 5 mins at least. Sausage casserole in slow cooker - blimey I am a domestic goddess!

I really wish I'd got to the washing machine first now, it's lovely and sunny here. :( I'll have to make sure I do it tomorrow.

Aw that is so frustrating - to see the sun shining and not be able to put your washing out! I think that sometimes when I am at work and it is good drying weather - oh dear what a sad person I am!!

It wouldn't be such a problem if the washing line was bigger. But there's only room for one person's clothes on it so if you don't get there first, you lose out for the day.

Well i have had a wasted day waiting around in a hospital waiting for my OH to have his colonoscopy! surprise surprise they couldn't find anything. We just have to wait now for the results of his MRI on tuesday and maybe life can move on.

My washing is on the line...its chickpea curry for tea and I am off to take chloe to the circus...woo hoo!

What aid are you getting on steering wheel Ames?

Great mews on 2lbs Claire. What do u weigh now?

It's just a steering wheel knob, the rear window is really small so I'm going to have to turn round when I'm reversing to look out of the back windows to get a good view, and I'll only be able to turn the wheel if there's a knob on it. So it shouldn't take much doing, it just depends how long it takes for them to fit the job in.

I drove past a circus last week and it crossed my mind to go - we were never allowed to as kids.

Phew, I must be mad - I've just been to tesco and morrisons, which were heaving, especially morrisons, which was full of students and small children. Got all the stuff I've been meaning to get all week though - mainly storage boxes and the cheap chip pans so I can do pasta and stuff safely. I also booked my opera tickets, their customer service was dire, I nearly lost the will to live - she actually tutted when I asked her if she had a list of performances so I could choose which ones to book! And sighed over everything she did. I didn't dare ask her if they did a community group scheme, I'll email and ask that!

If any of you northerners fancy the opera I got a £15 gift voucher as part of my season ticket.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

It was buy in town here too as well Ames, I think one uni (mine) started last week and the other is going this week, judging by the amount of people in Ikea and in Asda today, it was mental. And I've only just got why you'd use chip pans for pasta and stuff, god I'm thick sometimes!

  • I've booked to go on Friday Beanie. Might as well go have a look.

Right, I've decided what to cook for dinner - just need the inclination to go do it.
Anybody else find Saturday night's boring? I always feel that they should be special somehow.
