Some autumn questions

I'm trying to keep ahead of the game this autumn so my garden looks reasonably neat and tidy over winter. So I would welcome some advice on the following please:

1. Is it worthwhile over-wintering fuschias and geraniums (pelargoniums), and if so, how? I don't have a greenhouse but I do have an unheated but probably fairly frost-free shed.

2. Can I move a couple of shrubs now or should I leave it until spring ? The shrubs are an evergreen euonymous, about 18 inches high & wide, and a decidous weigela which is still in full leaf. I would prefer to move them now but don't want to kill them !

3. I was given a tiny rose bush for my birthday last week, can I plant it out in a sheltered space in the garden now ?

4. Should I be cutting my lawn shorter or longer going into winter (last cut around here can be end Nov/beginning Dec)

I keep my pelargoniums on the kitchen windowsill over winter - they look a little bit sorry for themselves by spring but soon perk up once they get outside again. Just don't over water them. You could take cuttings (if you wanted to) instead of over wintering them.
