When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important :D

Morning campers!!!

Imagine my shock when I thought "I'll post now..." and there was no thread?! I've been up since ten to six but just logged in at work! :)

Here is my list:-
- Buy carpet cleaning liquid to use friends carpet cleaner that I borrowed (ohh about a year and a half ago....:rotfl:)
- HC bed sheets and dry naturally
- Dinner from stores
- [STRIKE]Working til 2pm (£85 over time)[/STRIKE] nearly done so will cross off now :)
- [STRIKE]Submit my purge claims and record on my outlook[/STRIKE] £10 this week, not as much as I'd like but all extra :)
- [STRIKE]Email budget sheet to home[/STRIKE] will update last gap at home
- If time after doing carpets chop up some more kinding as I have nearly run out. I get pallets from work so it's free but it does involve a lot of manual labour!
- [STRIKE]Snacks from "larder" at work. Remind DB3 to buy bread for Monday, his turn. I have bought the soups and beans etc.[/STRIKE] I will buy everything and claim it back from him on Monday
- Small Mr T's visit for crisps for work larder, carpet cleaner stuff and eyelash curlers - an essential!!! :A
- [STRIKE]Take all my shoes home from locker as they are being replaced (the lockers are) on Wednesday. Might wear some of them again as I put them in there and forget I have them! :rotfl:[/STRIKE] Two huge bags full! I think about ten pairs I forgot I had???
- Look up on here when Mr T's vouchers come through, think it's November. I have 4500 points that are going towards Christmas presents :)

Jx

DH has just got up, so told him the good news about the water. Away to check it out. Back in a mo.
