Should I accept or return garden gift?

Only a slight deviation from money saving in the garden but this is a question about garden web camers's. I've been given a nature watcher wireless camera and have the opportunity to return it if I feel it's not a suitable gift. Does anyone else have a similar item and if so, is it OK?

I haven't got one, but why wouldn't you want it?

Would you use it, would you watch it?

If you would, keep it, if not then take it back and get something you like - tbh it sounds like something that people would buy as a gift for it not to be used much.;) A lovely thought, but if they won't be offended I'd take it back.:o

The thing is, we have quite an active wildlife garden, but as far as technology is concerned, I'm not the sharpest knife in the draw so if I encountered problems etc.

Well if you're only worried about getting it set up, I wouldn't be, these things are easy nowadays.

And if you can't do it, find a 10 year old, do it for you no problem :D

I don`t have one but agree with Lotus eater in that it should be easy to set it up, i`d love to be able to see what happens in the garden when no ones around.

I know that we get foxes and hedgehogs etc but would love to see what else sneaks in and watch without disturbing them.

    Good luck whatever you decide.

If it's the Proteam one, amazon sell it and it hasn't got the best reviews. By the looks of it, it can only be used within 1.7 metres of a 240V socket and is best out of the weather.
So if you had the idea of sticking it down the end of the garden, best to get another one.
