  • Also have got OH to do all potato peeling as despite what everyone says potato juice makes mine worse.

Found a tube of Aloe Vera gel (with no colourants or alcohol in it) at the heath shop so have that handy for after the washing.

I know what you mean about rubber gloves. Besides after 5 mins my hands sweat in them & that makes it so much worse.

MY hubby has all potato peeling duties and all wahing up - rubber gloves irritate my hands, but are the lesser of the two evils when cleaning bathroom etc...
I also can't touch microfibre cloths, they just seem to stick to my dry hands and that goes right through me!

Newlywed, it's worth investigating to see what is causing breakouts, trial and error am afraid. Could be anything you are touching during cooking, cleaning, washing, bathing, hair shampoo, touching animals, and the list goes on!

Yeah I know I'm allergic to lots of washing powder, lenor, bold, nivea, dairy products, E numbers, etc etc just never thought about the cooking and that it could be some food causing too!! :o Although i do the washing up it doesn't seem to correspond to that as it can get better and then flare up again when I don't do the washing up!

The rest of the cleaning is OH's duty as I'm at work all day ;)
