Beach wedding in Skegness!!

So my mum and soon to be step-dad have always said if they get married it will be on the beach in skegness with a fish and chip supper.

On May 13th, 2010 (Friday the 13th.. their 13th anniversary!!) they're going to go for it!!

Howevverrr.. we have no idea how to go about this! Can you even get married on Skegness beach?

What I'm really looking for is some insider information? We can cover booking caravans and I'm sure I can negotiate with someone over a very large fish and chip supper..

But a marriage on skegness beach is so far out of my league

HELP!

I don't think you can actually have a legal wedding ceremony outside in this country, it has to be inside a building licenced to perform weddings. What your mum and step-dad-to-be may have to do is do the legal bit at a registry office and then you could have a humanist ceremony or blessing on the beach.
