Nokia N70 problem?

Hi Everyone,
I have the Nokia N70 phone and recently the headset logo has appeared on screen and as a result my phone thinks the headset is attached which is highly frustrating because when i make or recieve calls i cant hear anything.
I have tried turning phone on and off, taking the battery out, looking through the settings but to no avail. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anybody have a possible solution?
The phone is on the T-mobile network and is less than 12 months old.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Many Thanks
Shaunkip

haven't had this issue with my n70
you can now update the firmware on your n70 from nokias site http://www.nokia.co.uk/nokia/0,1522,,00.html?orig=/softwareupdate
you could try this. make sure you back up everything on your phone first using pc suite.Ever stop to think and forget to start again?0 -
Not sure if you'll read this but the same thing happened with mine today. I looked up the pinout for the pop port and the phone detects an attachment connected if pins 2 and 3 are shorted together. (Pin1 is the pin on it's own next to the power connector and pin 2 is after the gap, pin 3 next to it and so on up to 14.) I shorted pins 2 and 3, then released them and it detected that an attachment is no longer attached and now works fine, although I don't accept any responsibilty for any damage so try at your own risk. (Usual disclaimer sorry!)0
