just to add for anyone who want flights in the christmas school holidays, I've booked flights from liverpool to malaga from 17 to 23 December for £40 per person return. they've gone up slightly now but still under £50 return.

I would check the reviews for this hotel it is not within walking distance to Torremolinos. Its on the Motorway between the Airport and the road in to Torremolinos.............

At £9 pp per night it isnt going to be the Dorchester
Its an example of whats available to get a cheap week away from the UK in Dec.

There are other hotels available on the Costa Del Sol ie 70 in Torremolinos, 56 in Benelmadena, 69 in Marbella, 37 in Fuengerola, 32 in Mijas, 68 in Malaga , 29 in Estepona

just posted for the first time a bit earlier today but if you looking for a ATOL protected holiday to areas around Spain/ the Balearics might be worth checking out a site I've found and booked a trip with called Hi Holidays. They also do hotel only and have some rooms for just £10 a night per person. From reading up they are part of Thomas Cook but they seem more specialist in a specific hotel chain but after playing around with a few searches I've found some cheap last minute deals coming back (did take a bit of playing around but worth a go for a bargain!).
