Hi peoples.
I am filling out the gttr form and I was wondering if you can put music qualifications under other relevant qualifications. I have a g5 distinction in singing from ABRSM and some other music qualifications.
They are mentioned in my personal statement :O)

Yes, if they are relevant. Are you applying to do a PGCE in Music?
I can't remember if I put mine on the GTTR form. I must have done, but thinking back, I'm not sure!0 -
Put them down even if they aren't relevant to your course - it's value-add and they love all that on ITT applications
If you can fit it on there - put it on there!"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
Are you applying for primary or secondary? They're definitely applicable for primary, but if there's space to put them in for secondary, then every extra thing you can offer a school will help in some way*2016 - the year of the savings account!*

I'm going for Primary so think I will add them. I have grade 5 singing, Grade D Prepatory Piano, Grade 1A theory.0

That will definately be relevant for Primary teaching. Put them down! There aren't enough people with musical skills in Primary.0 -
Have done. Wish the piano and theory were newer but unfortunatly I did them before I joined university and moved away from home so I stopped my lessons. I can't afford them right now.
The grade 5 singing however I am most proud of as i got a distinction0
