Reasonable Cost WebDesign

Anybody know of a reasonable cost webstore design service?

I built myself a webstore in a weekend using an EKM Powershop template. But I have to admit its c***.

So any pointers would be much appreciated.

"it all depends" which means it depends on whether or not there are scripts or frontpage extensions in place already that merely need putting in a webpage design or whether it'd all need doing from scratch.

I guess what you're saying is how long is a piece of string......

EKM quote a basic design service starting at £650.

Difficult to judge exactly what you'd get for this as a layman.

I'll take a look over the weekend when I have some time.

    Many thanks.

Do you use PayPal to collect your online payments, or have you setup a merchant account?
Of course, I may just be talking b****cks!

Paypal and Google Check Out for online payments.

Average transaction value is high while volume is insufficent to yet warrant a full merchant facility.

Get along to some business networking events and find someone who has a reputation, portfolio and recommendation.

Far, far, FAR too many fly by nights and back bedroom kids out there.

Cheapest ain't best, either (neither is most expensive)
