Kitchen quote

Hello all,

£2,200.00 + VAT ( £2,585.00 inc. VAT) to rip out (including all over tiling), plaster walls after removing tiling, re-tile floor and splash back, install kitchen. Kitchen is quite small 3-4 metre squared. not sure what that is in old money, but it is small.

What do you reckon.

I assume that doesn't include the kitchen itself?

Still that's not too bad even if it doesn't if you know they're going to do a good job. Tiling is not cheap these days.

Get more than 1 quote though.

Mmm bit high i think, it cant take longer than 7 days ( or are they buying all the tiles as well)

Thanks for your replies - really appreciate. I will be supplying the tiles and kitchen - so these will be paid for apart. The builder will be supplying the adhesive for the tiling.

The builder who will be doing the work for us has done some small jobs for us in the house, but I haven't seen his kitchen fitting work, so i'm hoping he's going to do a good job. I thought about asking to see examples of his work, but tbh he could show us anything and say it's his.

He said it wil take a week and half.
