Really not looking forward to when the DDs have all left home and I'm stuck with this m*ron.

:rotfl:I know it's not a laughing matter but it struck me as ironic. MissP had a drink to celebrate her anniversary, you had one to help cope with MrSOS and I had a drink just....because.

Do take care PhoenixD. I'm sure you are aware that weight carried around the waistline is risky. Lots of us on here are cutting down to cut calories (along with lots of other loftier reasons), so join the club.

:rotfl::rotfl:I guess we can find a reason anytime maman!

Phoenixd - if its any consolation, my Mum was sent home recently after her stent procedure with lots of literature about a healthy heart etc. She was also given a tape measure to measure your waist. Its graduated in colour, ie white is fine, pink is not so good, and red means you need to lose the weight! Guess what...mine was red....:o...hence the foray back into slimming world!:rotfl:

    Miss P

    Hi Everyone
5 AF please Shaggy (incl tonite)
Went to party last night so indulged in some fizz and then vodka tonics...woke up having had a rubbish sleep with a full blown hangover. I wonder if hangovers are worse since ive majorly cut down on my drinking, i think so Also today ive had to sand down the walls in preparation of decorator coming tomro.......hangovers and sanding dont go together but i managed:eek:
Another struggle today has been to avoid the hangover munchies which i think ive managed but going to bed soon in case they kick in later:rotfl:
Not seen much of DaisyChain on here, i wonder if she went back to LA in search of Mr Right?
It’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts
  • 4 please, Shaggy, thanks

Blimey I'm tired out from work and studying - rest time now for brain for a short while before it starts again

Still good on the AF front as a result!

I'm sure all the studying is worth it in the long run albeit exhausting now. And well done for keeping AF while you're at it sparkles.:T

I'm confident (from experience:)) that your resistance is lowered when you cut down. Hope you managed to resist munchies.

Hi all, just to let you know about a forum I found recently called Bright Eye, there is lots of info there about cutting down/giving up. I also read the Allen Carr book (twice lol) which has helped me a great deal. Good luck with it everyone x

    Morning :hello:

I wasn't AF this weekend so I'm still on 4 AFDs. I didn't over-do-it and I'm still on an average of 10 units per week. Back on the wagon tonight.

    I'm off to update.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
