Are there any well established mobile hairdressers in your area who might be interested in expanding?0

Depending on what area you live in, there is a maximum discount you can get. £16k in a lot of places....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Have you not considered that your mum might have plans for her £30k? What if your mum wanted her money back? Surely you don't expect her to just give it to you?"You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

well i get 15000 a year which i know is not alot but wouldnt my repayments only be about 400.00 a monthy tops, plus if my mom lived with me, she gets a pension aswell, just wandered if i could get a morgage now or if i would have to be working for so many years first.
Does that include HB to pay for your rent? If so you are aware that you'll lose this money aren't you?"One thing that is different, and has changed here, is the self-absorption, not just greed. Everybody is in a hurry now and there is a 'the rules don't apply to me' sort of thing." - Bill Bryson0 -
Gosh there are some catty replies on here!
Getting a ortgage when selfemployed is so hard.
We did it though and after much research found Halifax were willing to give us one, although it was a remortgage so might be different.
When my husand left me i was able to get a remortgage and at the time i was on benefits (4 children at home, childcare etc made it impossible to carry on working) They knew i had gone on to benefits.
Well done on trying to pull yourself out of the benefits trap, it is a nightmare when you are a single parent. When you still have to be the full time parent and try and factor work into the equasion it is so hard.
I know how much effort you would have put in to get as far as you have with studying and looking after your children, but doing the mortgage thing on your own may not happen.
You are in a stabl;e housing situation, so if it was me i would think about building your business up, get yourself a good name. leaflet drop, website etc etc do the best you can to make it something special, you then will have a solid case to put to a mortgage provider.
I would think twice about involving your mum though, thats a huge tie. Think about the future, could you really live with your mother for good? what if you found love and wanted your partner to move in, mother at home could scare many people! your mum may not even like that idea. If she put all her money into your place how would she then move out when the time comes?
Again. well done, i know how hard it is, your doing well
