in Credit cards
Hi all, on checking my serps policy i was advised i could possibly claim compensation through a third party . Has any one had any success with this ,it seems like a good thing as the company i may use say there is no fee and they make money on the insurance . Compensation is paid back into to the serps policy.

What is SERPS in this context? I know of "State Earnings-Related Pension Scheme" but I don't know of anything relevant to Credit Cards. Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

Any company who says they will try to get money for you is scamming.
Dont touch them with a barge pole.
Where is the connection between SERPS and credit cards. There is none as far as i or lots of other people know.
From other posts like this i would say the same -
They take some money up front, because they say they will 'try' oh yes, they will try then they will fail, then they will say 'well, we tried'
you will get nothing and they will have your money.
Tell them to jog on - they are treating you like an idiot.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

has any one had any success in claiming compensation from badly invested SERPS contributions.
Not many as its a complete doddle for the complaint to be rejected using the FSA flowchart. The FSA found around 1.5% of those that contracted out had the potential for being mis-sold. The published a guide with a flowchart to indicate if you were or were not.Reason being there is a website offering there services FREE of charge even if successful ,they will claim on the insurance,
That is not possible. Financial services redress payments do not cover the cost of any third party used. Any claims company telling you that is telling lies and should be reported to the MoJ for misrepresentation or even fraud.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
