online auction sites

Have anyone used or know of anyone that have used the online auctions where you can up Nintendo wii's for under £10, plasma t.vs £20 etc etc. Basically, you buy credits and these you use to place bids? I'm after a Dsi & Ds lite for my children for christmas and I know some that have been sold for under £10. There has to be a catch?surely? Am tempted to use one as christmas so expensive but can't afford to be stung. Please help/advise?:eek:

they are NOT auction sites, they are reverse bidding sites and technically gambling

the winner is the one who places the lowest unique bid ( you are the only one who says that amount)

only winners are the reverse bidding sites

This is about right but I would say these sites are a total scam and a tax on the stupid.

Thanks both soo much, knew it was too good to be true but at least I now after asking, I will def stay away from these types of sites.

look at some of those we buy your unwanted goods type stores if you have one local, might have some 2nd hand
