Average time taken Settle CC for Credit record

Does anyone know how long on average it takes to have settled on your credit record once you have closed the card?

reason, want to apply for the Capital one Platinum, however closed PO credit card (£750 Pathetic limit) 1 month ago and closed Egg card (15K) 2 weeks ago. Got my Nationwide card coming to an end soon, so need to open a new card and transfer. I did want to wait as the last 2 times, Marriott card and Tesco clubcard card CC have had low limits, which has never happend before (2.7K) + (1.5K) res. I can pay off the nationwide, but really would like to transfer to another card like Capital one, and leave the money in an ISA.

Any ideas???
